Brisbane City Markets  

Every Wednesday, 8am – 6pm (Reddacliff Place); and every Thursday, 8am – 2pm (Cathedral Square) 

A favourite with Brisbane City workers, the Brisbane City Markets bring the country to the city twice a week. With everything from plants to pastries you can pick up premium produce, meats, seafood, artisan goods and more. They're the perfect spot to stock up for lush lunches, source the ingredients for a special dinner or to pick up a gorgeous gift.

Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets 

Every Saturday, 6am – 12 noon 

Located on the former QUT campus, the Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets are a one-stop-shop for all of your premium food needs, with everything from bakers to butchers and the freshest in-season local produce. Gorge on gourmet food made on the spot, chat with the passionate producers and soak up the sights, tastes and lively energy.  

Jan Powers Farmers Markets – Brisbane Powerhouse 

Every Saturday, 6am – 12 noon 

Featuring over 120 stalls, the Jan Powers Farmers Markets at the Powerhouse are bustling with fresh produce, flowers and artisanal creations. Stock up on food, enjoy some freshly squeezed juice or feast on a gourmet lunch on the lawn. 

Jan Powers Farmers Markets – Manly  

First and third Saturday of every month, 6am – 12 noon 

Featuring fresh food with a beautiful bay backdrop, Jan Powers Farmers Markets in Manly are a vibrant mini-village right on the water at Manly Harbour. This can’t-miss market promises the usual farm-fresh fruit and veg, local and international flavours and the opportunity to bring a furry friend.  

Saturday Fresh Market, Rocklea  

Every Saturday, 6am – 12 noon  

The largest fresh food and lifestyle market in Brisbane, the Saturday Fresh Market boasts over 150 stalls with the usual fresh fruit and veg, flowers and meats plus a huge range of plants and lifestyle products. Join the 5000 eager shoppers who visit every Saturday. With ample parking, entry is $6 a vehicle or $2 per person. No dogs allowed, except for certified assistance animals.

Sundays

Riverside at the Gardens Market 

Every Sunday, 8am – 3pm 

Sprawling throughout the City Botanic Gardens and Albert Street, the Riverside at the Garden Market has been a popular gathering place for locals and tourists for 30 years. Queensland art and fashion are on display, coupled with live music and great international food and coffee. Free entry. 

Northey Street Organic Farmers Market  

Every Sunday, 6 – 11am 

Popping up every Sunday at the Northey Street City Farm, the Northey Street Organic Farmers Market is Brisbane’s only strictly organic market. There’s a beautiful selection of organic produce, baked goods, honey and meat along with sustainable and ethically produced fashion and giftware. Dogs and buskers are allowed.  

Nundah Fresh Farmers Markets  

Every Sunday, 6am – 12 noon 

The Nundah Fresh Farmers Markets transform the Nundah Train Station carpark into a market mecca every Sunday. They're a great way to spend a day tasting gourmet food, sourcing local plants and produce, and discovering craft and giftware.  

Jan Powers Farmers Markets - Mitchelton 

First Sunday of every month, 6am – 12 noon 

Make sure you bring your green bag to the Jan Powers Farmers Markets in Mitchelton – it’s the perfect place to fill your pantry with fresh food from delicious bakeries, fishmongers, and pasta makers. Flowers and artisanal products are the icing on the cake, plus you can bring the dog.

Milton Markets  

Every Sunday, 6am – 12 noon; and first and third Thursday of every month, 10am – 2pm 

Formerly the Red Hill Farmers’ Markets, Milton Markets are inner-west Brisbane’s premium food, farmers and lifestyle market. Packed with farm-direct produce like meats, seafood, eggs and honey as well as arts and crafts, the Milton Markets are the perfect weekend outing for friends and family. 

Global Food Markets  

Every Sunday, 6am – 12 noon 

If you’re trying to track down a unique or rare ingredient, check out the diverse range of stalls at the Global Food Markets in Woodridge. Give yourself enough time to grab a bite to eat from the authentic and ethnic food stalls before heading home. There's free entry and parking. 

Beenleigh Craft and Farmers Market  

Every Sunday, 6am – 12 noon 

A general variety market halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Beenleigh Craft and Farmers Market are a welcome change from the city pace.  

The Green Shed Market 

Every Sunday, 6.30am – 11am 

Not for profit, The Green Shed is the Mt Tamborine market for local fresh food and veg, selling only organic and no spray produce from local growers to the public. 

Cleveland Markets  

Every Sunday, 7am to 1pm

One of Brisbane’s oldest markets, the Cleveland Markets have been operating for 30 years. Over 70 stalls offer fresh produce, arts and craft, food and entertainment for the perfect bayside Sunday morning.
