If you’re an independent explorer or you simply want some flexibility around your visiting times, why not take yourself on a self-guided tour of Roma Street Parkland?
Each month, Roma Street Parkland’s volunteer guides prepare a leaflet to spotlight interesting specimens in the parkland, the Remarkable Plants Guide, including a special self-guided map which will take you on a journey around the parkland showcasing fabulous flowers, fruit or foliage!
Visitors can select from FREE themed guided tours including Spectacle Garden in Colin Campbell Place, overall Roma Street Parkland, and Bush Tucker and the Rainforest.
Tours are free however pre-registration is required to attend. Please visit the Roma Street Parkland Oztix page for more tour information and to make a booking.
As part of Brisbane Open House, Roma Street Parkland is offering a rare behind-the-scenes tour showcasing its sustainability practices and green systems.

This is followed by a restricted-access tour (11:30am–1:00pm) of the operations compound, nursery, and composting site, revealing how the Parkland recycles 100% of its green waste.
